         I am Poem

I am a Cheerleader for All Star Infinity.
I wonder what the world will come to, and when it will end.
I hear my music playing so loud i can't hear myself think.
I see my overeactive dog fighting a fly to death!
I want to one day become the best prime minister in New Zealand.
I am a cheerleader for All Star Infinity.

I pretend I am a pop star performing in front of 1000 people.
I feel sad when i see animals being tested on for a tube of lipstick.
I touch a soft rainbow unicorn sitting on a cloud.
I worry that i will not meet any friends at intermediate.
I cry when people don't include me and underestimate me.
I am a cheerleader for All Star Infinity.

I understand now that everyone is different and that's ok.
I say when things get tough it's ok to cry.
I dream that one day everyone will accept people for who they are.
I try to make sure everyone around me is happy and enjoys their day.
I hope that as i get older i can take time to spend with my family.
I am a cheerleader for All Star Infinity.

        Peggession

Peggession pay perfect peggesses to ive in a paralysing palace.
Peggession eats packets of pumpkin pie pudding potato chips.

Peggessionn likes to paint particular peacocks while eating pasety pasta.

Regression participates in pageants and peals peanuts and pecans.
Peggession pointed to the plaza and powerfully poked me in the eye.

This is called a creature alliteration poem.
To start of we had to choose any creature or make one up. Then we had to write it down and add ion to the end of it. Each line had to describe the creature. Each line had to have at least 4 alliterations in it.
1. Where it lives
2. what it eats
3. what it likes
4. Anything about it
5. What it did to you
In the end it turns out to be an exiting, funny and eye catching poem.

The Big Mission!

Storming out the door kelly waved goodbye to her mum and skipped down prince street. (The longest street in L.A.). Pacing along kelly speed all the homless Girls, Boys, Women, Men, Children and Adults. Kelly felt bad. Suddenly kelly herd a beautiful noise, it was music to her ears, it was the best thing she had ever heard! Someone was singing. It was a Man's voice deep but timid, loud but harmless, sweet and soft. Pering around the corner kelly saw a homeless man. It was him, he  was the one who was singing.

FREE WRITING!!

   CHEERLEADING
1, 2, 3, 4, toss her in the air 5, 6 catch her 7 and 8.
My coach shouted at us. You see i am a level 1 senior
Cheerleader. I know i know you might think that cheerleading is all about pom poms and bows. But it is definitely not. I don't think i have  ever touched a pom pom before!  Cheerleading is hard work. So much sweat and tears go into a minute routine . A routine that is going to win us first place and grand champions.

My team has to train two times a week. Tuesday for two hours and Thursday for two hours and thirty minutes. we start practice by doing something called conditioning.conditioning helps us strengthen our body's and warms us up. (sometimes it is pretty painful). We do things like push ups, candlesticks, ABS, lunges and squats, calf raises, supermans and firehidreants. We do foughty of each.

Then we stretch. We stretch our flyers which is someone who is aup in the air while their bases are holding them up by their FEET!!! I myself am a base.
When it comes to competition time everyone is excited covered in makeup and their hair is as hard as a rock with all of the gel and  hairspray. But when we get on that competition floor nothing else matters. So now you know that cheerleading is not about pom poms and bows.

Burma      trail

It was a dark and gloomy night at Camp Hunua. All of us were sitting on dusty tables. We were about to watch a movie before we had walk through the even MORE horrifying
Forest. I was terrified! Eh, i'm not scared. Bethany said. What! How? Why? Bethany just laughed. Just then the first group went off into the dark bush. A few minutes later I began to here screams coming from the bush. My heart began to pound, my hands were getting sweaty and I would not stop fidgeting. I was so nervous. But then the sound of laughter cheered me up. From the movie. Horton fell in the river. Ahahahaha! That was all i heard. So i joined in the fun .AHAHAHAHA. I was louder than anyone else. Then, I see him standing at the door. It was Mr VB, it was the time, the time i had to toughen up and be brave. Because it was our turn to go through the horrendous…BURMA TRAIL!!  I got my shoes on and rushed to follow my group.
I was in the middle of the line to go into the scary bush of Camp Hunua. So, I walk very nervously through this terrible bush scared to death. Then suddenly a man jumped out of the bush and… BOO!!! We all
screamed like little Baby Chipmunks. AHHHHH. We all laughed in embarrassment. Just then i felt something foamy on my hand. I told everyone they felt it as well. I smelt it, oh come on it was shaving cream. EWWWW. Everyone said. There must have been shaving cream on the rope. We got on with our walk. Oink Oink. We all heard it, we all screamed again. And laughed again until everyone started to lose the rope. I CAN'T FIND THE STUPID ROPE!! Erin cried. Calm down, said Bethany. After that we had lots of fun walking through the not so scary bush anymore. Until SPLash! I stepped in a great big puddle. My shoes were saturated. Then a lot of fun things happened we got sprayed with a water gun, bowled by a leaf blower and attacked by lots of bushes. We could see the light of the end of the trail and we made a run for it. I was relieved. It was like the weight had been lifted of my shoulders. I think everyone felt the same. Except for bethany of course. Apart from that i was very proud of myself. I will remember it forever.

2017

Being a year 6 is Awesome !!!!! it is now 2017 and the first 4 weeks of room 16 have been even more AWESOME!! We have done loads of cool stuff. In week 2 we did Sizzling Summer Scenes. We drew sunglasses then inside we drew a picture of our holiday. Angel’s, Tiana’s and  Emily’s were the bomb. But that is just the beginning. In week 4 we did first aid. We did it with a saint john man called Mac. He taught us how to do CPR and the process called DRSABC. Wich stands for Danger Response Send for help Airway Breathing CPR  . You can learn more about this at the saint john   website.http://www.stjohn.org.nz/. I had a lot of fun with my buddy Angel.
I loved to do science it was so much fun we learnt about the 3 states of matter. They are Solids  Liquids and Gasses. We buddied up with room 15 and made groups. Then we chose a Solid and we put it into 3 Liquids and we wrote down what happened.   Screenshot 2017-03-06 at 12.20.48 PM.png
Overall i loved to do science!

So I think that makes it clear that room 16 is the best class           EVER!!
